The 36" diameter x 144" long nylon windsock is the FAA size 2 windsock. This size is commonly used on airport runways, hospital helipads, chemical plants and oil rigs and other commercial, industrial and military industries.
Our windsocks are made in the USA to FAA specifications using the highest quality materials available. The throat and tail of the 36" windsock is reinforced with a triple hemmed band of white cotton duck fabric for additional durability. windsocks are double stitched with UV resistant, bonded, polyester thread for enhanced durability. All windsocks are fitted with weather resistant #2 brass grommets for easy attachment to the frame. This windsock is fabricated from water resistant, high density polyurethane coated nylon fabric.
