The heavy duty 36 inch diameter x 12 feet long canvas (10 oz. cotton army duck) windsock is the FAA size 2 windsock. This size is commonly used for airport runways, hospital helipads, chemical plants and oil rigs.
Our windsocks are made in the USA to FAA specifications using the highest quality materials available. The throat and tail of the 36 in. windsock is reinforced with a triple hemmed band of white cotton duck fabric for additional durability. windsocks are sewn with UV resistant, bonded, polyester thread for enhanced durability. All windsocks are fitted with weather resistant #2 brass grommets for easy attachment to the frame. This windsock is fabricated using 10.10 oz. cotton army duck, which has been treated to be water repellent and mold resistant.
