The highly visible 36" diameter x 144" long vinyl windsock is the FAA size 2 windsock. This size is commonly used for airport runways, hospital helipads, chemical plants and oil rigs.
Our windsocks are made in the USA to FAA specifications using the highest quality materials available. The throat and tail of the 36" windsock is reinforced with a triple hemmed band of white cotton duck fabric for additional durability. Windsocks are double stitched with UV resistant, bonded, polyester thread for enhanced durability. All windsocks are fitted with weather resistant #2 brass grommets for easy attachment to the frame. This windsock is fabricated from fluorescent vinyl-coated polyester, which is highly visible and long lasting.
